How to Prepare Seafood

The cooking times below are fully thawed steaks. Beef tenderloin steaks (filet mignon) will take 30 seconds to 1 minute less time to cook in each category. Cooking times may vary considerably depending on cooking equipment.

RAW SHRIMP
(Peeled and Deveined)

Instructions for Shrimp Cocktail:

  1. Boil water.
  2. Place shrimp in boiling water for approximately 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove shrimp and place in cold water.
  4. Drain shrimp from water and place in freezer for 2 minutes, to regain firmness.
  5. Serve with cocktail sauce.

COOKED SHRIMP
(Peeled and Deveined)
Fully Cooked

Instructions For Shrimp Cocktail:

  1. Thaw shrimp in tepid water.
  2. Drain shrimp from water and place in freezer for 2 minutes, to regain firmness.
  3. Serve with cocktail sauce.

STUFFED SHRIMP
(Crabmeat, Monterey Jack Cheese)

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees for 16-18 minutes.

STUFFED CHICKEN BREASTS
(Cordon Blue, Cornbread Stuffing)

Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. 

SCALLOPS

Instructions:

  1. Thaw in cold water.
  2. Drain scallops
  3. Pre-heat oven. to 400 degrees
  4. Bake thawed scallops Pre-heat Oven.
  5. Bake thawed scallops at 400 degrees for 5-30 minutes .

STUFFED FLOUNDER
(Crabmeat, Lobster & Broccoli)

Instructions (From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 450 degrees for 18-20 minutes.

STUFFED SOLE
(Scallop & Crab, Shrimp & Garlic, Broccoli & Mozzarella Cheese, Florentine)

Instructions for Conventional Oven

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes

Instructions for Carousel Microwave Oven:

Cook on High for 4 1/2 minutes. (If not Carousel, then rotate Sole 90 degrees after 2 minutes and then continue cooking for another 2- 2 1/2 minutes)

STUFFED ORANGE ROUGHY
(Crabmeat)

Instructions (From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 450 degrees for 18-20 minutes. 

MARYLAND CRABCAKES

Instructions (Cook From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 475 degrees for 12-15 minutes. 

SEAFOOD CRABCAKES
(Made with Shrimp, Crab and Scallops)

Instructions (From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Using 1 Tbsp of olive oil per cake, brown each cake on both sides.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.

BREADED TILAPIA

Instructions (From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees for 18-25 minutes.  

BREADED FLOUNDER

Instructions (From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees for 18-25 minutes. 

HOKI
(Idaho-potato crusted fish)

Instructions (From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 425 degrees for 16-18 minutes.  

ALASKAN KING CRAB LEGS
Fully Cooked

Instructions

  1. Completely thaw Alaskan King Crab Legs.
  2. Rinse in cold or steam for 4 minutes in colander.

FILETS
(Sole, Flounder, Tilapia,Orange Roughy, Red Snapper, Grouper)

Instructions (From Frozen):

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  

FISH STEAKS
(Swordfish - Sashimi Grade, Tuna - Sashimi Grade, Chilean Sea Bass, Halibut, Norwegian Salmon)

Instructions:

  1. Defrost in refrigerator, while in wrapper.
  2. Pre-heat oven.
  3. Bake at 475 degrees for 12-16 minutes.  

LOBSTER TAILS

Instructions for Broiling:

  1. Defrost.
  2. With a sharp knife, split thawed lobster tails lengthwise down the back. Gently pull lobster meat out and place on top of shell. Drizzle butter, garlic and parsley over lobster flesh.
  3. Preheat broiler.
  4. Place 4 inches from heat. Broil approximately 7 minutes or until lightly browned.

Cook From Frozen:

  1. Pre-heat oven.
  2. Bake at 475 degrees for 12-15 minutes. 

LOBSTER TAILS - SHELLED

Instructions:

  1. Thaw in cold water
  2. Pre-heat broiler
  3. Broil for approximately 4=6 minutes, or until lightly browned, 4 inches from heat.
